It seems that the decade which we tried to forget for it's fashion mishaps is rearing it's lovely head again amongst the global designers' think bubbles. Runways for A/W 09-10 were brimming with nods to our 80's past and the fresh take on a modern twist of edginess gave this dismissed time period a second chance for fashion acceptance. Designers that participated in the generation-Madonna birth were Marc Jacobs with his highly exaggerated shoulder volume and Alexander Wang with his glossy reptilian biker shorts.
